Who we are

A graduate of ESSEC, Emmanuel de Courcel worked for 8 years at the Boston Consulting Group, in Paris and New York, on strategy and organisation projects for companies in the retail and consumer goods sectors. He then spent 8 years with the L’Occitane Group, as Group Managing Director for Europe and Managing Director of the Le Couvent des Minimes brand. He founded Retail Int. in 2012.

A graduate of HEC, Jacques Pieau worked for 3 years for the PSA Peugeot Citroën group in the internal audit department and then spent 8 years with the L’Occitane group as Finance Director Spain and Italy, Finance Director Europe and finally Group Managing Director for Switzerland. He joined Retail Int. in 2015.

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Benoit Lasbats worked for over 20 years with the consultancy firm Kéa & Partners, first as a consultant and then as a Director, mainly for retail chains and distributors. In particular, he worked on network organisation and performance, as well as omnichannel development strategies. He joined Retail Int. in September 2023.

Julia Blanchais holds a Master 2 Grande Ecole degree in Audit and Corporate Finance from the Ecole de Management de Normandie. She worked for 6 years at KIKO Milano, first as a retail management controller and then as a retail business analyst. She joined Retail Int. in May 2024.

Sonia Rastogi-Lanter holds an MBA from the HEC business school. She worked for 20 years in the fashion industry (Tommy Hilfiger, Zadig & Voltaire, The Kooples and SMCP) as a sales manager and business unit director. She joined Retail Int. in 2023 as head of business development.

A graduate of Paris XI (Orsay) with a DESS in Man-Machine Communication Systems, Guillaume Brocard worked for 5 years at Airbus and 11 years at Thales Group as Chief Software Architect. He then held CTO positions in several companies, mainly start-ups, before joining Retail Int. in November 2023 as Chief Technology Officer.

Jitendrakumar Patel holds a master’s degree in computer science and worked for 14 years at Socio Data Management as a BackEnd Developer, followed by 2 years at Quadra Informatique as a FullStack Developer. He joined Retail Int. in August 2022 as a FullStack Developer.
