Every night, Retail Int. collects footfall and sales data by product family from the stores of its customer brands, anonymises, checks and cleans them, compiles and analyses them and provides the following results to the brands every morning:

Market Dynamics

Comparison of the brand daily growth with that of the panel:

  • Overall and by line of busines
  • By type of location (city centre, shopping centre, etc.)
  • Whole country, by zone or only where the brand is present
  • In sales and footfall

Local Dynamics

Comparison of store growth with that of neighbour stores

Enabling retailers to identify stores that are suffering/ resisting vs. their local environment and providing them with objective data for discussions with landlords


Restitution

  • The Market Dynamics report is sent by e-mail every morning.
  • A CSV file containing all the daily Market Dynamics and Local Dynamics results for each retailer is produced every morning and uploaded onto a server for the retailer, which can then load it into its BI for integration into its reporting or ad hoc consultation.
  • Lastly, analysis documents and summary files are produced every month and sent by e-mail to all the company’s relevant recipients.
